Inexpensive Halloween Tablescape

Most of the things I do – whether it’s repairs or DIYs – will be for those who have a smaller budget. This year, I found this black vase and I decided to design the rest of my tablescape around it.

The plates are paper plates from Walmart that were only $.97 for 8. I also picked up the plastic cups from there as well. I believe they were $1.48 for 4.

The black vase is from Home Goods and was only $4.99. The flatware is also from Home Goods and was just $4.99 for a set of 12.

The floral yellow poms are from Hobby Lobby and were just a few bucks (I don’t recall the exact amount).

The white placemats are from T.J. Maxx and were $4.99 for 4. I bought them last summer and haven’t seen them again.

So, for less than $23, I was able to create this simple, yet festive and spooky look for the table. We don’t host for Halloween, so it’s ok that I went the inexpensive route. Christmas is another story!
