Gift Ideas for Mother’s Day
I know it’s last minute, but I would be willing to bet that so are most of you. No shame! Our lives are so busy nowadays and it’s understandable. Besides, do you really need ONE day designated to show your mother how much you love and appreciate her? No.
Show her everyday. I know that I love nothing more than random gifts throughout the year. It lets me know someone was thinking about me and saw something they knew I’d like. But really, what I love more than anything are things that can’t be bought: spending time with my family and making memories.
Perhaps, though, you live hundreds of miles away from your mother like I do and you can’t take her out to dinner or physically see her. I came up with a small list of things any mother would enjoy.
First, jewelry. Most women enjoy jewelry and this artificial leather wrap bracelet is quite simple and can appeal to those who have all different styles. It is available at Diadem Boutique and is called the Wrap Me Around You bracelet. Priced at just $14.95, it is easy on your wallet, but candy to your eyes. It’s also available in a darker color.
If mom loves to work in the kitchen, then maybe she would like a nice apron to wear while she works. This apron is one from my own shop and will be available in other fabrics eventually. For now, she can don these beautiful muted stripes for only $22. Find it in our shop here.
If you really want to go all out and surprise mom, show up with a pair of these beautiful Rose Gold (“metallic copper”) Birkenstocks that just recently came out. These shoes are so comfortable and will be perfect for Spring and Summer. Price is a bit higher, but they are great quality: $134.95 at Nordstrom.
If your mother is anything like me, then she loves nothing more than to sit down and relax with a glass of wine at the end of the day. You can buy her a new set of wine glasses for her favorite wine and a wine aerator to help make her favorite wine taste even better. You can find both of these at Crate & Barrel and priced nicely at that.
Finally, pamper mom with some amazing products from Lush. I love their Twilight bath bomb. It is a very soothing way to relax in the bath. I also love their Ayesha face mask. It helps to tighten and tone tired looking skin (hello, yes please!!). I also love their Silky Underwear dusting powder. It smells amazing and can be used on your body or you can sprinkle it on your sheets!
Hopefully these give you an idea of some sweet little gifts for the woman who grew you in her womb. 🙂 If she’s anything like me, she would love nothing more than to see your happy face. If you are long distance, make sure to Face Time her and wish her a lovely day on Sunday.
